Attended Service + Direct Cremation

A celebration of life at a local venue

£2995

Arranging a service at an independent venue, i.e. not at the crematorium, followed by a Direct Cremation offers a fantastic mid-priced option which has numerous benefits, the most obvious being cost.

Your Funeral Director will arrange a celebrant led service at one of their approved independent venues. This could include their own on-site facilities, or external facilities. They will have seating and audio equipment as a crematorium would do. The deceased will have a Direct Cremation in the days following the service. Aside from cost, the benefits are endless, but here are just a few:

  • The deceased will be in a suitable coffin for presentation purposes for the service. For example a traditional style oak veneer coffin. They will be transported to the venue and placed in-situ prior to the start of the service, so no funeral cars are required.
  • You will not be restricted to a 20-30 minute slot like the crematorium, meaning you can take the time to make things special. More music? More personal tributes? More conversations? Photos? Also you won’t be bumping into other mourning families.
  • Independent venues will often facilitate a post-service reception with food drinks etc. As such, everyone is in one place for the whole funeral. It’s so much less hassle for everyone, and people who might have otherwise left after the service, will most likely stay.
  • And finally…..the obvious one. This type of funeral is considerably more cost effective than a trip to the crematorium. Why? There are two main reasons. The fee’s involved are less, and you are saving on funeral cars.
